How do you handle returns if a craft sculpture is damaged during transit?

Oh, I totally understand how nerve-wracking it can be when a fragile sculpture is on its way to you. But don’t worry—I’ve got a clear, straightforward process to make things right if anything goes wrong during shipping.

First, the moment you open the package and notice any damage, please take clear photos of both the sculpture and the packaging from several angles. Then, send those photos to me along with your order number within 48 hours of delivery. I know life gets busy, but that quick photo step is super important for filing an insurance claim with the carrier.

Once I receive your documentation, I’ll assess the damage personally. Because these are handmade craft sculptures, every piece is unique. If the damage is minor—like a small chip or a crack—I’ll offer to repair it for free. I have all the original materials and patinas on hand, so the fix will blend seamlessly. I’ll also include a small discount on your next purchase as my apology for the inconvenience.

If the damage is significant and the sculpture can’t be repaired to its original beauty, I’ll arrange for a full replacement or a complete refund, whichever you prefer. I cover all return shipping costs, and I’ll process your refund as soon as the damaged piece is scanned by the carrier on its way back. Usually, refunds hit your account within 3 to 5 business days.

And here’s a little insider tip: I always double-box my sculptures with custom-fit foam inserts and cushioning. Still, accidents happen with carriers. That’s why I insure every shipment for its full value. So you’re never left holding the bag.

If you ever feel stuck or just want to talk through the options, just reach out. I’m here to make sure you love your piece, no matter what happens on the road.
