Great question! When you order a ready-made craft sculpture, you’re looking at the fastest turnaround time possible. Since the piece is already finished, inspected, and carefully packed, it usually ships within 3 to 5 business days after you place your order. That’s because we keep a small inventory of popular designs—so your sculpture can be on its way practically right away.

On the other hand, a custom sculpture takes more time—and that’s a good thing. A custom piece is entirely made from scratch to match your vision, size, material, and details. You’ll start with a design consultation, where I’ll sketch or share digital concepts based on your ideas. After we finalize the design, the actual sculpting, drying, finishing, and packing take around 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the complexity. For example, a simple animal figurine might take 2 weeks, while a detailed human portrait with intricate textures could need the full 6 weeks.

Why the difference? Custom work involves hand-carving, multiple drying stages, and sometimes even custom bases or mounts. Plus, I personally check each piece for quality before it ships.
